IN PIENA LUCE – A MATTER OF LIGHT

 L’obiettivo e lo sguardo di nove fotografi internazionali che interpretano e svelano l’identità plurima e complessa dei Musei del Papa. Bill Armstrong, Antonio Biasiucci, Peter Bialobrzeski, Alain Fleischer, Francesco Jodice, Mimmo Jodice, Rinko Kawauchi, Martin Parr e Massimo Siragusa: questi i nomi dei 9 “maestri della fotografia” che hanno ritratto e documentato, secondo la loro propria cifra stilistica, gli ambienti, le opere, i visitatori e le atmosfere del Museo. I 160 scatti d’autore compongono la mostra ideata dai Musei Vaticani “In Piena Luce. Nove fotografi interpretano i Musei Vaticani”, in corso a  Palazzo Reale di Milano dal 24 maggio al 1 luglio

The lens and the gaze of nine international photographers who interpret and unveil the multiple and complex identity of the Pope’s Museums. Bill Armstrong, Peter Bialobrzeski, Antonio Biasiucci, Alain Fleischer, Francesco Jodice, Mimmo Jodice, Rinko Kawauchi, Martin Parr and Massimo Siragusa: these are the names of the nine “masters of photography” who portrayed and documented, according to their own style, the spaces, works, visitors and atmospheres of the Museum. The 160 professional shoots compose the exhibition created by the Vatican Museums, “A Matter of Light. Nine photographers in the Vatican Museums”, hosted by Palazzo Reale in Milan from 24 May to 1 July.
