LIFE BETWEEN ISLANDS CARIBBEAN-BRITISH ART 1950S –TATE BRITAIN. Y, PRÓXIMAS SERIES A ESTRENAR, SEGÚN VOGUE

 This exhibition explores the work of artists from the Caribbean who made their home in Britain, alongside other British artists whose work has been influenced and inspired by Caribbean themes and heritage.

Spanning visionary paintings to documentary photography, fashion, film and sculpture, Life Between Islands traces the extraordinary breadth and impact of Caribbean British art, in one setting.

This exhibition celebrates how people from the Caribbean have forged new communities and identities in post-war Britain – and in doing so have transformed what British culture and society looks like today.

The exhibition features over 40 artists, including Aubrey Williams, Donald Locke, Horace Ové, Sonia Boyce, Claudette Johnson, Peter Doig, Hurvin Anderson, Grace Wales Bonner and Alberta Whittle.

ALGUNAS DE LAS LAS SERIES QUE SE ESTRENARÁN PRÓXIMAMENTE, SEGÚN  VOGUE

1) Para Julian Fellowes, el estreno de La edad dorada se une al de Downton Abbey: Una nueva era, la segunda película cinematográfica de la saga que comenzó con la serie de televisión del mismo nombre y que continúa con la historia que se pudo ver en la pequeña pantalla y en el largometraje de 2019. El filme se estrenará el 18 de marzo en los cines.

2) J de... Joséphine Bonaparte

Tras copar los titulares con El último duelo y La casa Gucci en 2021, Ridley Scott vuelve a la carga con un biopic de Napoleón Bonaparte. Joaquin Phoenix (que trabajó por última vez con Scott en su oscarizada epopeya Gladiator) protagonizará Kitbag en el papel del general francés, mientras que Jodie Comer interpretará a la emperatriz Josefina.
