the pulse of contemporary art worldwide may be by visiting the Venice
Biennale’s national pavilions. Representing a “plurality of voices,” as
Biennale president Paolo Baratta said at a press conference on Wednesday, these
spaces are fertile ground for artists to address the current state of their countries
